CBD: 62% des consommateurs l’utilisent contre les douleurs chroniques et articulaires

American researchers conducted a study to determine who consumes CBD and for what purposes. The results are striking, with pain treatment leading the way.

More than half of the panel consumes CBD regularly.

There has been an explosion in consumer demand for CBD – its growth is ravenous but for now, few specialists have been able to explain the reasons for this phenomenon.

Today, we are looking at a study conducted by American researchers and published on July 1, 2018.

The research was based on an online questionnaire. It was designed to determine who consumes CBD, for what reason, and in what form. This questionnaire, anonymous of course, was viewed from October 25, 2017, to January 25, 2018. For information, participants were recruited through social networks.

In total, nearly 2490 responses were collected: the panel proved to be balanced in several respects. In terms of gender, first (women: 50.87% – men: 47.40%). Also in terms of age, the majority of respondents reported being between 55 and 74 years old (39.97%). From an educational standpoint, a majority of graduates enrolled in university or postgraduate programs were observed (71.22%). Finally, the majority of respondents live in the United States (91.23%). The survey was conducted in 23 other countries, allowing us to focus on a key figure: 55.17% of respondents confirmed regular cannabis consumption.
