Well-being: the benefits of CBD for the skin

Bien-ĂȘtre : les bienfaits du CBD sur la peau

CBD has been gaining popularity in recent years for improving the health and appearance of our skin thanks to its natural benefits.

Dryness, infections, itching: CBD proves largely effective

It's no coincidence that scientists and industrialists in the cosmetic field are taking a close interest in CBD for managing skin problems. The extreme complexity of the skin and its functional mechanisms make its treatment difficult and, at times, not without consequences.

Take, for example, isotretinoin, used in the treatment of acne. While its effectiveness is undeniable, it almost systematically causes chapped lips, dry mucous membranes, itching, and nosebleeds.

CBD appears to be an effective way to relieve various skin conditions without causing side effects. These include, among others, rashes, dryness, eczema, psoriasis, insect bites, clogged pores, scratches, burns, cases of dermatitis, and bumps. This is a non-exhaustive list, which is likely to grow in the coming years; research is likely to accelerate if there is a favorable legal framework.

The benefits and virtues of CBD on the skin are said to be numerous

The large number of skin conditions for which CBD appears effective demonstrates its benefits and virtues. It is therefore credited with various properties: moisturizing and soothing, first and foremost.

Unlike the isotretinoin molecule, the use of CBD for acne problems does not cause burning or leave scars at the end of the treatment protocol.

CBD is also said to have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties: in the case of an insect bite, for example, it reduces the burning sensation and diminishes the immune response when applied topically.

The use of CBD has also shown antioxidant and anti-angiogenic action: in addition to combating skin aging by fighting against free radicals, it has the advantage of reducing the formation of new blood cells; which makes it a serious candidate for cancer treatment.
